21 years ago tonight, February 1, 2004, as the Patriots were on their way to winning their 2nd championship, Justin Timberlake exposed Janet Jackson’s breast for 9/16 of a second during the halftime show at Super Bowl XXXVIII on CBS, igniting a media firestorm. The following day, Timberlake's handlers blamed the incident on a ‘wardrobe malfunction’.
