With 2 border collies who dominate my car, hockey equipment, winter snow & salt and summer sand from the quarry, the young men who detailed my FJ yesterday earned their money. Now if I can only teach my dogs not to shed their fur & teach me to take my garbage out of the car.

My Canadian C3 pals dont let minus 20 and knee deep snow slow their paddling down. Today they were all in Toronto at the Boat Show where the man made indoor lake acted as the race venue for their SUP races. These guys rock.

I see that one of triathlon's smartest-most strategic-hardest working pros is finally retiring. Andy Potts achieved more in the sport due to guts & determination and smart planning than all but the top 5-6 rockstars. I loved the guy & the way he fought to the final finish line.

He was my all time favourite singer growing up. I saw Detroit's Bob Seger 17x over the years, including 3x in one weekend and even flew to Vancouver to see him a few years ago. Bob turns 80 this. With the death of Alto Reed his sax player, I doubt he will ever tour again.
