I condemn the violence that occurred today in Matungu during Mzee Agostino Odongo's funeral. As a Senior Chief & Director at Mumias Outgrowers Company, he deserved a dignified send-off, not the chaos caused by Rashid Echesa. May mzee Rest in eternal peace.

Had the honor of hosting family, friends, and leaders at my home in Matungu today for a memorial service of my late mother, Mama Philomena Mutelwa Barasa. It was a moment of reflection, gratitude, and remembrance as we celebrated her life and the impact she had on all of us.

Chaired the monthly service delivery meeting to assess the progress of ongoing projects. We are expediting the completion of all ward-based projects to ensure they are available for public use. We also remain on track to commission key constituency-based projects.

I call upon the Ministry of Mining, Blue Economy, and Maritime Affairs to fast-track the establishment of the Ikolomani Gold Refinery Plant to provide income, enhance safety and prevent loss of lives. 3/3
