If you have wood full of squirrels, that's all you will have . No nests will survive , no eggs will hatch & no birds will fledge , & the trees won't flourish. Sometimes , to conserve wildlife , it's essential to manage the population of certain predators.

Please explain how a closed herd ( no incoming cattle) can contract TB ? Here's a clue ..... they can't, Research / science / & facts ( not fantasy) prove that badgers give cattle TB , its really that simple .

Bovine TB is overwhelmingly a cow-to-cow spread disease. Our policymakers need to accept that fact and the science behind it. Stop killing badgers. #EndTheCull Sign our petition now > 🔄 RT

Can't beat a scientific, in depth, well researched wildlife assessment investigation. However , if you're pushed for time , simply do from a 70mph train 👍 Apparently, insects & songbirds that fill hedges & trees are easy to count from the 2.45pm intercity

This is what the English 'countryside', as seen from a train, looks like. Because it's green, I guess things look good. But look how empty of wildlife it is. Not a single bird visible. Not one. Massive swathes of our 'countryside' are just devoid of animals.

I don't usually watch @BBCSpringwatch , it's utter shite , however , I did tonight for 3 minutes. It showed ,with glee, a jay predate 7 wren chicks, only for @ChrisGPackham to state that the parent wrens were " BEMUSED" . moronic
