📢 100 100 Days of Protests in Serbia: Escalating Pressure on Independent Media For 100 days, protesters in Serbia have been calling for Rule of Law. In response, the ruling party has intensified its efforts to target and discredit independent media, attempting to silence journalists who report on the demonstrations. The Balkan Free Media Initiative (BFMI) condemns these attacks on press freedom. Smearing and pressuring journalists is a deliberate strategy to control the narrative and suppress public debate.
