In the 90’s the all positive dog training movement was swearing by homeopathy, Bach’s remedy today the situation is far more upsetting, the SSSR’s are prescribed by any veterinarian for no particular reason. Dogs that need some basic training have been on medication as young as 6 months old. This has to stop! @AVSABehavior should redo their position statement on dog training and focus on over medication instead of debating if electric collar is ethical or not.
