The Rapid Response Team recently cleared out this site in the 4600 block of Monitor Street.

HOMELESS PERSONS MEMORIAL
This year in Kern County 86 people have lost their lives while homeless.
As the City and agency partners continue to help with the homelessness issue, we took pause today at the inaugural Homeless Persons Memorial Vigil to remember those lives lost.

Today our Recreation & Parks Department unveiled the Adopt-A-Park sign for Atrevete Vive Mejor as official adopters of Stonecreek Park in Ward 7!
The group adopted the park last year and have been organizing regular cleanups at Stonecreek.
