Fun Superman trivia. Panic in the Sky (the story from the comics, not the episode of the George Reeves series) ran in the Superman books from Triangle Numbers 8 to 15 in 1992. It was a great take on the alien invasion story. Instead of waiting for the invasion to come to…1/

This is why moving away from secret identities and the supporting cast is hurting the long term appeal of characters. When super heroes are only friends with other super heroes things get boring really quick.

Adventures of Superman #474 is often cited among Post Crisis fans as one of the best of Dan Jurgens’ run as writer and penciller on that title. And it’s easy to see why. It’s a tight, one and done issue that tells a tale of Clark’s past concerning one of the pivotal moments…1/

One of the best things about Zero Hour was the crossovers. @JonBogdanove drew an all-time career best cover with Superman: TMOS 37. He also drew an amazing promo poster that flipped the script on the image. Did you try to spot all the Bat homages?. #ZeroHourAt30 #Superman

It’s interesting to read people bag on Byrne’s Man of Steel (and his run in general) as if they are making arguments that people weren’t making 40 years ago while, at the same time, completely ignoring the state Superman comics were in the early 80s & how needed the reboot was.

I like it. I’m not ecstatic over it, but I like it. It’s slick and has the whole Kingdom Come meets My Adventures With Superman vibe. And it’s neat that another S will enter the live action landscape.

The older I get & the more the world turns to crap the more I look back on things & think, “It wasn’t perfect but it was fun.”. Batman Forever is one of those things. I don’t normally push for extended versions, but this one might be fun. #ReleasetheSchumacherCut

An extremely flawed movie with some really good casting choices. It was not the movie that we needed at the time, but it has some great set pieces and an amazing score. And Routh got robbed.

These reprints look amazing. @JerryOrdway’s art looks great in a slightly bigger format.

Brooke from Mezza Tattoos did the best job on this. So happy with how it turned out.

I don’t know where to begin with how wrong this statement is. It’s like a Swiss Army knife of bad takes all in one sentence.

Once again I’m reminded that the most outlandish and unbelievable part of the comic book version of Marvel’s Civil War is that a bunch of kids were killed and Congress did something about it.

But in that trade I mentioned a deleted scene was added. An extra page that explained where that ship came from and served as a smoother transition to the scene with Professor Hamilton. This was promoted in the house ad for the trade, which I thought I had but don’t, sadly. 8/
