Thinking about the time I was writing a progress note on a patient my age who was actively dying while crying and then being promptly criticized about not being receptive to feedback at that point. Idk, maybe there’s a reason people don’t stay in medicine

If y’all want more physicians practicing for longer, expand residency spots and address severe burnout in medicine.

@simplyserotonin Your med school will see the inconsistency. I also would let them know that you did ask for verbal feedback and no one discussed it with you. While it may not help you, the school might chat with the preceptor(s) about giving appropriate feedback to benefit future students
