Also, on 7/29/23, O'Shae Sibley, a 28 y/o gay man, was stabbed and later died outside a gas station in Brooklyn, NY. The suspect responsible for the stabbing was identified as a 17y/o, who turned himself in on 8/4/23, and was charged with 2nd degree murder as a hate crime.

As a Palestinian it's so agonizing to only get to hear your mother tongue in your specific accent online when it's spoken by a survivor of a bombing or a massacre. The only representation I get to see online is mostly through the death or demonization of my people.
