Lutnick confirmed that reciprocal tariff studies will be complete by April 1 3. Lutnick said that reciprocal tariffs will start by April 2, barring President Trump's approval 4. Lutnick specifically mentioned Canada, Mexico as pathways for goods from India, China 5. "I don't expect [exemptions or waivers]," said Trump on reciprocal tariffs more broadly 6. Some tariffs "coming soon". Trump said that auto, steel, aluminum, pharmaceutical tariffs are "coming soon." No specific date was mentioned. 7. Trump does not plan exemptions on auto tariffs. 8. BRICS 100% tariff threat. Trump repeats that BRICS will be hit with a 100% tariff if they play with the dollar. BRICS - Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa. 9.
