. Excellent job by staff in restraining the boy, who was quickly

We were called at 9am today (Feb 27) , to reports of a firearms discharge in the vicinity of London Road, Preston.

stopped his service and took two trespassers on board. The 10-year old children were met by officers. After social services checks were done, both were returned home and given strong words of advice. Their supportive parents have grounded them.
Two men are in custody tonight after a police officer was attacked at

A very aggressive male who threatened to stab a Train Manager at

yesterday went on to assault him by throwing water over him. He then fled into the city on foot, so our officer jumped in a

Station and set off walking along the tracks caused significant disruption to services. Our drone team was able to locate him, guide officers in, and he was

Two youths travelling without tickets were asked to leave a service at

yesterday. One of the girls spat on the train driver. A ‘spit kit’ was used to obtain a sample for forensic analysis. A 14-year old suspect was pointed out to us later. Enquiries ongoing.

A 12-year old child who got separated from friends, missed his train, and was stranded at
