🚨 Important Update on Bitcoin for Palestine 🚨 It is with deep sadness we must inform our donors that Bitcoin for Palestine has now been compromised / corrupted. We strongly advise against further future donations. This is no longer a suitable place for your support. Israeli strikes against local police have given rise to armed criminal gangs who have taken control of BTCPalestine operations, profiting from the theft of aid meant for civilians We can no longer ensure financial transparency & accountability, and we do not wish to support any criminal activity. Consequently, we have ceased all fundraising efforts effective immediately. ⚠️Please STOP all donations to this campaign. This is very much to do with Yusef Mahmoud unfortunately. He is corrupted/dishonest and those of us who worked to support him through updates I posted and money we donated are blowing the whistle out of a sense of responsibility to our donors. We are deeply disappointed and heartbroken too but we had to inform people. Those who continue to donate to Yusef do so at their own risk and now with the knowledge they are funding criminality.

@s_speche @ray_noOnes @CoinProfitPro Feel free to support @GazaGreatMinds they do excellent work in north gaza with kids and they accept bitcoin (unfortunately just via binance currently). They are affiliated with the ministry of education in Gaza

WE blew the whistle and didn't do it on a whim. Believe what you like, donate where you like. People risked their lives to provide this info and I have a duty to protect them. All we can do is blow the whistle and inform donors there is a serious problem. I spent almost 2 years of my life, sacrificing time from my family to do this, this isn't just a fun thing for me to burn it to the ground for no reason after putting my heart and soul into building it up.

@one_ods It's in the hands of the police in Gaza to resolve when they are able to. I felt responsible to inform donors. This abuse needed to be called out.
