@southernthrax @FTFonFS1 @getnickwright This is individual talent. Hurts is not more talented than Mahomes.

You're not understanding the actual argument here. It's about individual talent and how much Hurts has to rely on his teammates to perform well. He's one of the worst graded QBs under pressure. Take this postseason as an example. He ranked 13th out of 14 QBs when under pressure. The guy relies heavily on his elite o-line. Even in the regular season he was 22nd. Mahomes has had a great team for a majority of his career, but he's also shown that he can overcome adversity and make something out of nothing when things break down. Same with Burrow, Lamar, and Allen. Even Jayden Daniels was graded top-5 when under pressure this season. Hurts is great when things are good, but as soon as things break down, he struggles significantly.

He’s overrated if you’re slapping the Elite label on him. Elite QBs make something out of nothing consistently which Hurts hasn’t shown. He’s one of the worst rated QBs under pressure while Lamar, Burrow, and Allen are top-5. Even JD is top-5 under pressure, but I won’t consider him elite after just one season. To be elite you can’t just be good when everything else is good. He’s a great QB, but he’s still yet to show that he’s elite.

@ladycarter003 @Realrclark25 @JalenHurts It only took him the best defense in the last decade, best offensive line, and the greatest RB season of all time to get a ring.

@letthemdo @InfirmaPeribit @BarryOnHere Forced him to make what plays exactly? I’m pretty sure the only times he got pressured he threw a ugly pick and a terrible pass down the sideline lol

Idk how this silences the critics when he had a beautiful pocket to throw from here. The broadcast even had to give the o-line their flowers for this. The area where Hurts is criticized the most is when he’s under pressure and he threw an ugly pick and had a very bad missed throw down the sideline when he was.

Because WSH doesn’t have a dominant D-line. It’s all about how good the D-line is. Eagles D-line can generate pressure and stop the run effectively by themselves which frees up the secondary to help each other out. WSH doesn’t have nearly as good of a D-line so the secondary has to help them out a lot. And yet they still can’t stop the run. It’s not rocket science.

@qbfactoryworker @FTFonFS1 @Chris_Broussard @kevinwildes Defining a close game is literally a hypothetical. It’s about what could’ve happened given the circumstances at that point in the game. Sheesh… clearly critical thinking is not your strong suit lol

Your logic needs some serious work. The Eagles had a 13-point lead heading into the 4th quarter in their last meeting with Washington and lost. This game, they had an 11-point lead with Washington at midfield heading into the 4th. Saying it wasn’t close is like saying a baseball game isn’t close when it’s 3-1 in the 7th inning, just because one team hits a grand slam in the 9th.
