On January 31, 2025, three officials of GHCL ventured into the eastern extension of Harami Nala for a land survey, by a dredging machine. However, their machine capsized, leaving them stranded and without communication. The next morning, @GHCLLimited officials contacted BSF, Bhuj and District Police. After getting the information, BSF promptly launched a comprehensive search and rescue operation in Harami Nala area. Given the area's inaccessibility, the BSF employed boats and drones to locate the stranded officials. After a meticulous search, they were finally found standing on their partially submerged overturned machine. Ensuring their safety, BSF executed a precise rescue mission, utilizing boats to safely evacuate the officials. The Boot Camp, which commenced on 24th January 2025, provided an memorable experience for students from Govt ITI College, Dantiwada, Gujarat. The participants underwent intense physical training, attended informative sessions on weapon handling and survival techniques, and engaged in immersive activities like obstacle course and point-to-point march. They also gained valuable insights into Border Management, with hands-on exposure at Border Outposts. A visit to the renowned #SeemaDarshan at Nadabet further enhanced their understanding of the importance of safeguarding the nation's borders.
