@HistoriumU A young woman knocked on our door complete with secateurs one summer's evening asking if she could have some of our rosemary for placemats at her wedding. We have big bushes of it in our front garden ... must have spotted before. Ok'd it after asking Mrs A ..

Poetry is certainly alive in Liverpool! Today, I attended a stimulating workshop and discussion about #TheMerseySound poets at @OpenEyeGallery organised and delivered expertly by @PaulineRowe_ . It was certainly thought-provoking due to the presence and reflections from Pauline, Cyrus, Sally, Stephen, Jo, Julie, Margaret, Jane, Colin, Joy, Lee, Susan, David, Val and Aymeric. I recommended that folks listen to the excellent #frankskinnerpoetrypodcast and Pauline agreed! @CllrBMurray of the @LivLitCycle and @lpoolcouncil popped in at the start of the event, too. Earlier in the day outside @LiverpoolParish , I bumped into my friend Carl from #LiverpoolFamousWalkingTours who was guiding some Dutch visitors round the city so I performed for them a little extract from my Liverpool Liver Birds poem. If you need to hear and perform more poetry and spoken word, you are welcome to come to ‘Itch’ at @ShakespeareNP in Prescot this Tuesday 11th February and our next Liver Bards event is ‘The Four Seasons’ at @OfficialMaBoyle on Tuesday 4th March. Chances are most are Reform voters who think their golden moment has come and are wetting themselves that the opportunity has been stolen from them so are prepared to break the law
