Lastly, it sounds like the author ends the article by placing blame mostly on Republicans. I blame both sides equally after looking at historical data

@elonmusk @DOGE @USTreasury I've worked in IT a little over 40 years, 35 of those working with systems that make varying types of payments. Other than the DO NOT PAY list, these things have been standard in payment systems. If this is truly being done then bravo. And some IT people should be losing jobs
