Guess who’s back? Y3 are back!! We are opening school tomorrow! Not quite ‘normal’ with lots of safety measures in place but I can garantee a super end to term and huge smiley faces at being able to see each other again! 😁

Y3 have ended their Greek Topic with 3 wonderfully performed plays. The boys learnt all about how theatre was an important part of celebration & religion. They also learnt about how the Greeks wore masks to perform, so we made some too. Their plays were based on Greek Myths. 🎭

Today Y3 learnt about the Ancient Egyptian ritual of mummification by having a go at mummifying a tomato. They washed their fruit, scooped out the major organs, used salt to dry it out, stuffed it to help keep its shape & then wrapped it in banadages. 🤕

Our RE lessons have focused on the famous Bedfordian John Bunyan and his book, Pilgrims Progress. Today we are exploring Bunyan’s Bedford by taking a walk around to see key sites through his life as well as visiting his Meeting Place. ⛪️📖
