@free2roamOz @sally_hines No, you're disagreeing with equality law. By law I have the right to use the mens toilets, and my friend who is a trans woman has the right to use the womens. That is just fact, you can disagree til you're blue in the face it will still be true.

C¡s men are the problem, they're the ones who commit the most violence & sex crimes and they're the most likely to be predators - not trans women. Forcing us to switch spaces only puts us all at risk

@free2roamOz @sally_hines Unfortunately, there's a lack of gender neutral spaces in public places. There is no funding or legislation facilitating the implementation of gender neutral spaces in ALL public places. Trans men have the right to use the mens, and trans women have the right to use the womens.

@free2roamOz @sally_hines You won't be able to tell the difference if you have all trans men in there. Every space would automatically become gender neutral but not in a safe way. You may think you can, but you can't always tell. You may have shared a space with a trans woman and have no clue.

Trans people are 4x more likely to be victims of violent crimes than people who aren't trans so while gender neutral spaces are great for many of us, not all of us feel safe to use them. She has the right to use the ladies.
