@hubermanlab I humbly request having a past @lexfridman guest on your show, @ProfSteveKeen. Lex is great, but was not fully prepared for his interview with Steve. Seeing how u prepare for your guests, I know you will ask the right questions. You and your listeners will benefit.

@ASonOfLiberty24 @hubermanlab @NIH Neither your nor my (or anyone else’s) money fund the NIH. The “federal money going out the door.” is our economy. federal money not going out the door simply crashes the economy. Government Deficit = Private Surplus.

@hubermanlab @NIH You do know it’s not a matter of it being at the expense of anything. We can have it all.

@bd525217 @stuartbuck1 @Austen Crazy I know, but we don’t ever have to pay our debts. Remember Nixon Shock? The beauty of being able to print as much USD and the rest of the world just goes along with it. You and I have to balance our budget because we can’t print our own money. Gov doesn’t

@Austen It’s even worse. The “money” those “20 people who worked their entire lives to give you that” actually didn’t. As the issuer of the $, they give and take, not having to balance accounts (like you me or businesses). It nothing more than a power play to keep the man down.

@Austen What’s mind blowing (no pun intended)is that it’s not even your taxes that are “blown” in these other wasteful programs. What we pay in taxes are IOUs that vanish into thin air once paid. As the currency issuer, they don’t need our tax money to pay for these “wasteful” programs.

@RileyRalmuto I still think it’s the best thing since sliced bread, but am always looking forward to the next iteration (like everyone else). Hard to imagine the world my grand kids will face as adults. I am optimistic. If we humans don’t fuck it up, it could be a utopia.

@RileyRalmuto Saw it too. Don’t know if it was an update or an outage. Glad everything is back.

@hubermanlab @HHSGov @NIH Interestingly enough there wasn’t a “that 29M”. The government doesn’t have a limit on what it can spend, they just chose to fund NYT and not the laboratories. They could have funded both if they wanted.
