DJ tips from Lauer in our Beats In Space interview. "Early stuff of mine was hard to mix because I didn’t think about arrangement. In vinyl days, you’d leave a minute of beats in & out—but with loop buttons, you don’t need that anymore.” Broadcasting at 11am ET and 11pm ET on @AppleMusic Club Radio.

Here's Andy Bell (from Ride, GLOK, Oasis) talking about working with @timothyclerkin for their "Alliance" LP: "I didn't really want to sing. I didn't really want to be a guest singer because I don't really feel like that's what I am. My singing, it's like a by-product of guitar playing and songwriting. So when he wanted it to go down a route where I was providing a top line in a song, and I didn't really want to go there in a normal way, so I just did some talking and I did a lot of sounds and stuff like vocal sound effects, I guess. Tim Sweeney: Is this where you're talking about the pagan, pre-Christian head space of an ancient prehistoric rave at a stone circle? Andy Bell: Exactly. That was the head space I was in at the time." Find the full interview for free on @ApplePodcasts:
