Huge 3 pts. Had to happen to keep teams in range. Home games are crucial and we need to win all of them remaining. Defending for the whole game and ultra defensive after an hour but credit to the boys, dogged to a man. Small improvements each wk & we just might have a chance.

Let’s face it we’re never going to beat Blackburn. Lucky 3pts on Sat against Stoke but the performances don’t look like earning enough points. We are where we are because the players aren’t good enough. 7 wins from 32. 7 more needed from 13. It’s nigh on impossible I’m afraid.

Wellens said afterwards that his team didn’t need to play to beat Blackpool. Hitting the channels and winning 2nd balls was good enough. Changed how they normally play to a more basic form and turned us over with ease.

It looks like NC was sacked for 2 reasons. One for the turgid football and the other his request for reinforcements. He stated that there are 2 or 3 areas where we are short. Nothing has happened so we are still short and he was told to make do with what he’s got. 🤔

You’re right. The sentencing for crimes like you mention should be a lot more than 13 yrs.
It’s not the fraud sentence that’s wrong it’s the sentencing for crimes like rape that need to be increased.

Ref aside all today proves is how weak this division is.
A team looking to be champions should put us away after the sending off.
Tremendous point all things considered but we didn’t muster a single shot on target even with 11 men.

What we need in the next 6 days.
An experienced CH to marshall that shambolic defence. A mobile ball winning midfielder. A right sided winger and right fullback. Oh and a keeper.
Plus a manager would be helpful too.

Blackpool is double the size of Burnley by area and has over 250000 more people in its population. Burnley residents do have more fingers though per person.

I can’t see any patterns of play. Sideways and back for a bit and then just hoof it.
Frantic defending to keep them out.
No creativity in the middle and no pace in the team especially upfront. Lots to do on the training pitch and recruitment.

Morgan had a great debut. Up and down, constantly making forward runs and picking up positions in and around the box. Oli n Albie show at times.
Also he got stuck in, a couple of crunching tackles. Still full of running at the end, great engine.

Crowds are starting to dwindle due to the football on offer. 4 yrs on and we’re still waiting for the exciting football we were promised. We’re bored.

Just a thought on our ‘top 6’ budget.
3 of that top 6 will remain after the POs. Add in Wrexham, Stockport, Hudds, Brum, Wycombe & Rotherham. Suddenly struggling for a top 10 budget.
Like I said, last season was the easiest time to gain promotion. Next season will be harder.

There are very few players unavailable from last season. It’s virtually the same team. This team under NC did well and always looked well organised. The same players under this clown look like they haven’t got a clue. He’s out of his depth at this level it’s glaringly obvious
