The @SheasBFLO campus has been buzzing for the last two weeks with 80 campers participating in Shea's Summer Musical Theatre Intensive. Today's the day they put on a final showcase featuring original writing, characters, and songs created by the students!

This week we welcomed the cast & crew of the @sjci musical back to @SheasBFLO to celebrate their achievement in the Shea's High School Musical Awards program. St. Joe's won in 7 categories & took home $6,000 in awards toward performing arts education.

Today members of WNY's State delegation announced nearly $1.2M for @SheasBFLO through the Alive Downtowns! initiative as well as additional funding for @TornSpace, @AlleywayTheatre & @BuffArtsStudio. We are grateful to state leaders for this substantial investment in the arts.

Ed Healy, who played the leading role in switching Visit Buffalo Niagara's primary focus from Niagara Falls to Buffalo's architectural and cultural assets, retired on May 31 after 23 years, the last 16 as vice president of marketing.
