I don’t take them as just threats….a number of tariffs implemented during his first presidency were just extended by the current administration…so he’s definitely executed the strategy. As I mentioned above, we can debate the impact of those and I don’t agree with a number of the economic items discussed in the interview. My point was the difference of the depth and understanding…that depth on the topics and subsequent back and forth between interviewer and interviewee is NOT something we’ve not seen yet from the other campaign.

The reason for the negative responses you’re seeing in your post @ianbassin are because it’s factually not true and opinion based….see the Bureau of Labor stats on unemployment rates (YTD - Aug 2024 is 4.2%), inflation rates along with interest rates, and avg real wages trends from It would be better for all to make things like this more matter of fact vs opinion.
