@Javitoarroba @jp_koning CB can't legally pay interest because they are not recognized by the SEC as a financial institution. Circle is generating 4.40% from a $37.5B BlackRock fund using overnight repurchase agreements. That should be more than enough to pay 5% on CB deposits.

@DeRothsLLC @sora_xor Developers are being paid in $KUSD so there was a vote to re-peg KUSD which caused inflation of XOR. We have deflationary tokens if you're concerned about price action.

I responded to a previous comment of yours. I'm aware of the price action. It's hard to start anything without outside funding. When you are purchasing a crypto currency, or a stock for that matter, what you are doing is giving up your money so the company can build. Eventually you hope the company will use profits to buy back shares or pay dividends. Start-ups never do this because they aren't profitable in the beginning. Small-cap crytos are just like startup companies. Resources are used to build, not to prop up stock prices. I don't expect the majority of crypto Twitter to understand this fact.

Things start small. Transaction fees are paid in XOR. Core time for Palau's bond platform, Tonswap, and soon our governance platform and VAL DAO will use XOR on the chain hub. Even NOIR wine can be bought with XOR. I would never tell anyone to buy it right now because the demand isn't high enough yet. But countries with hard currencies (fixed supply) have lower economic growth than countries with expandable currencies. There's actual empirical data supporting that argument. What I'm trying to say is once more services are offered on-chain there will be higher demand for XOR. But I'm not selfish enough to tell people to buy XOR for anything other than paying fees.

@gonzo_valdez @metaphysical432 @omsa84 @mhmadnopal @AngelofYHVH People are calling Polkadex scammers too even with their fixed supply. And they have almost no liquidity. I think the bear market hit small cap defi incredibly hard. We can debate what could/should have been done but IMHO things would have been difficult regardless.

I can understand your frustration @gonzo_valdez. My personal issue is I thought too many people were bull-posting about XOR a couple months ago. The problem is our tokenomics are more similar to the Japanese Yen because XOR is designed to be a currency, not a store of value. People who don't understand the difference got burned and now comment on my posts scam scam scam. It gets exhausting.
