We are delighted to announce the launch of a new round of dyslexia assessment bursaries for 2025, made possible through our partnership with @TheoPaphitis and his team at @RymanStationery . This initiative will provide 40 dyslexia assessments for young people aged 12–21 from low-income households in the Crewe area. The British Dyslexia Association congratulates the Ministry of Defence on becoming the first government department to sign the Dyslexia Friendly Workplace Pledge. One in ten people have dyslexia, and by signing it, is committing to raising awareness of dyslexia and promoting dyslexia friendly practices amongst its service personnel in the Royal Navy, Army and Royal Air Force and Civil Service. Jason had a troubled childhood, his dyslexia was misunderstood resulting in behavioral problems. Jason was eventually diagnosed in prison and finally got the support he so desperately needed.
