Thanks to @WSP_UK for helping with a brown hairstreak egg count at Ryton Wood Meadows. Searching for tiny white specks in tangled blackthorn is a challenge. The team managed to count 130 which is the 5th highest annual count + given last years weather is very pleasing. 📷R.Brown

For #mothmonday lets look at the Satellite. A moth of mild winter nights, named from the obvious 'dot' which has 2 small spots appearing to be in orbit. The spots + dots range in colour from white to orange to reds. Have you had a Satellite orbit your moth trap? 📷 J.Atkinson
