BCHS reminds the community that BGH’s Emergency Department is experiencing significantly higher patient volumes and wait times. For non-life threatening issues, we ask that you seek care from your family physician or utilize other health resources before attending the ED.

Each year, approximately 1,500 babies are born at BGH, with about 30 at risk of Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, a condition caused by substance withdrawal. To enhance supports for these newborns, BGH has introduced the Eat, Sleep, Console program. 📰
