when people tell me "it's just a game" to you yes maybe it is just a game. but to that little boy i made a promise to that he'd sit and play on stage one day i have something to i must do. i owe him that at least. even if it takes me another 30 years i made him a promise and that promise i will keep. i have something to get, i found my purpose and for the first time i'm realising it. any help to get there will be greatly appreciated but i've always done everything by myself because of stuff that happened IRL i've learned to be independent so i will do as much as i can alone. that little boy was told he was NEVER enough, that he wasn't good enough, that he would NEVER be good enough. he was laughed at by his friends and he was told time and time again to give up and to get real by the same people that told him he could be anything he wanted to be when he was younger. He was told he didn't know enough and that he was stupid and chasing this was a waste of time and never had any support from anyone including those that are supposed to support him with whatever it was he was doing. he was told to look for a "real job" and told to get a secure, safe future and to conform to societal norms. where is the high risk, high reward attitude he was told to have?, where is the "shoot for the stars and you might just hit the moon" attitude he was brought up to have? what separates this little boy from the rest? one word. DRIVE. this little boy has a fire an ocean couldn't drown out, this little boy won't just roll the boulder up the hill, he'll launch it into the stars it's time we proved them all wrong. the grind has already begun, it's time to lock the fuck in and prove to that little boy that he CAN do it, that he IS enough, that he CAN BE good enough, that he WILL MAKE IT. it's time to make waves that can't be ignored, waves that won't be forgotten, waves that will be talked about for the next hundred years. This year that little boy is going to the moon
