interestingly, our spoken language influences our ideas a LOT. like, if you speak a language with a lot of positive words, you're more likely to be a positive person. But also, there are African languages that don't have a grammatically correct way to express "killing oneself",

thus, they find it a very hard concept to grasp. So these people experience basically no suicides, because it's not an action that would or really could occur to them. I think that, aside from those with severe mental illness, I don't think a caveman would ever kill themselves.

Also, it's very hard for a person to create new ideas completely in their head without having a spoken language, language helps a lot with organizing thoughts and understanding things. So they probably were very impulsive and animalistic in a lot of their decision making

the guy who invented the steam engine? blame him, we went from working about 20 hours a week, with dozens to hundreds of public holidays, to working 90 hours a week with like 3-4 holidays very quickly, and that's been terrible for our mental health
