My Dad sold the car he used as a Taxi so I could pay my WAEC examination fee on deadline day. It was an incredibly painful sacrifice because this affected him to a point where he had to leave Lagos and go back to the village to work in a bakery.

At a point my mom was selling kunu. She had the bottled ones she was selling for ₦50 and the ones inside nylon she was selling for ₦10/₦20 depending on size. This one time I was at home and mechanics were buying kunu. For every trip I made to the freezer to pick ₦50 kunu.

A couple of days ago, I had to get something for my brother at ladipo market. Heavy stuff that had to be brought by truck to oshodi for me to transport down to osogbo. The guy that facilitated moving the machinery down to oshodi after getting it to oshodi.
