i used to be a HUGE anti like HUGE. i despised anything loli related or even with highschoolers and i was in so much distress all the time because everywhere i looked i let myself see pedophilia. i called out lolicons as pedos. it was ocd i am diagnosed i know its a mental illness bc it was for me . i opened up my nekopara figures and cried in fucking guilt. sobbed. it was so awful, seeing drawings as real because of the people i was around. i couldn't stop thinking about pedophilia ever. it consumed my life. all this horrible guilt for nothing . and i'd redirect this anger trying to "fix" the problem by hating everyone who liked any anime girl with an arbitrary age slapped onto her or one that i decided looked too young for my standards. but it became an obsession that had nothing to do with helping anyone at all. all it did was consume me in misery being unable to see anything for what it was. always making everything into some deep evil thing. because deep down i thought they were cute too and i thought this compacity to think they're cute equaled pedophilia and that i had to kill myself like i genuinely believed i was a pedo for buying nekopara figures and im fucking straight. that's how crazy it was antis cause mental illness and encourages people to be unable to see the difference in fiction and reality. my line was completely blurred so badly that i felt guilt over thoughts popping up i didnt even agree with vtubers helped me get over this part of my fiction ocd so much. its been so life saving for my brain to see these girls be normal and nobody cares its so wonderful
