Public Works will be closing Pebbly Beach Road Thursday 1/18 & Friday 1/19 during the hours of 8:30am to 4pm to allow crews to perform repairs to the damaged walkway along Lovers Cove. Large commercial & emergency vehicles will be allowed to travel through the road.

Public Works plans on closing Pebbly Beach Road tonight (12/21) at 10pm due to potential heavy rains. It will be reopened at some point Friday morning depending if there are any issues.

Saltwater service to portions of East Whittley had to be turned off as of 4:30pm 12/12 due to a leak. We hope to have saltwater service restored by end of day 12/13.

As of 5pm Monday 11/13, saltwater service has been turned off to the Terraces, and upper Crescent Avenue due to a saltwater main break. Saltwater service to the affected areas should be restored by 11am Wednesday morning.

Saltwater service has been turned off to the Terraces, and upper Crescent Avenue due to a saltwater main break. The repair requires a concrete slurry to cure overnight, and service should be restored by Wednesday morning. Further updates to be provided.

Saltwater service will be shutdown starting at 11am, Wednesday 11/8 for all of Clarissa Ave, and upper Descanso Ave. due to a saltwater leak repair. It should be turned back in by 3pm.

No parking will be allowed on both sides of the 100 at 200 blocks of Sumner Avenue Friday, November 3 from 6:30am to noon to allow for tree trimming. The 300 block of Sumner is not included in this.

SCE will be performing utility work near 201 E. Whittley Thursday, September 7. The work will limit traffic going through the intersection at Whittley, but the road will remain open. Expect minor traffic delays.

East Whittley will be closed to local traffic only from 8/25 to 8/31. Vehicles will only be able to enter/exit at the top of East Whittley, therefore two-way traffic will be allowed. The intersection at Whittley Ave. will be completely closed. Further updates to be provided.

Saltwater service for Eucalyptus Gardens Apartments and Upper Tremont St. will be shutdown Thursday, June 15 from 8am to 5pm to allow saltwater supply repairs to be completed for the apartments.

Public Works will once again be closing Country Club Drive Thursday, April 20, from 8am to 5pm from the Catalina Canyon Inn to Los Lomas Drive to replace a saltwater valve. The saltwater supply to Eucalyptus Gardens Apartments, and Catalina Canyon Inn will be turned off as well.

Jilk Heavy Construction will be installing several new pilings for the Green Pier starting Tuesday, March 28 thru Friday, April 7. The Green Pier will still be accessible while the work is being done there. Please be mindful of work crews while they work on this important repair.
