This is probably the most bravely specc’d Mercedes S-Class I’ve seen, VERY individual when it comes to the interior, rarer AMG alloys than usual & also on the S63 platform too so maybe only appeals to mentalists like myself.

Our new to us ML420 CDI drove faultlessly home, admittedly it was only 56 miles but still. The wife drove 49 of those and she’s very happy, she said it feels just as quick as our 4.2 TDI Q7 but just a far nicer place to be, suspension is way nicer IMO too. Figures aren’t bad

This car is a phenomenal bit of kit. 6.6l Twin Turbo V12 making 601bhp, all wheel drive, weighs 2200kg & is 5.2m long. Does 0-62MPH in 3.7sec, 0-100MPH in under 9, yet I’ve just done 231mi & averaged nearly 27mpg!
Even with most car CPU’s being out they are impressive figures 🤓

5th Corporate Heathrow completed in the S since Saturday AM, meaning the 4.7 Bi-Turbo V8 500L has done 1253 miles, averaging 31.76mpg & I’ve spent near on 27hrs in the drivers seat in that period.
This is why I prioritise high spec levels, refinement & enjoyment over frugality.

Full Valet, Paint decontamination, Clay bar, Stage 1 paint correction machine polish and full ceramic coating using SiRamik glass coat.

They aren’t as pretty as an XJL, they also do not drive as well as an XJL but there is something about a W222 S-Class that’s been specc’d in something different from your standard Silver or Black and in SE trim…..not AMG Line as the vast majority are. Oh and this one has no less

The Rolls had to go trickle charge for a bit but seemed an ideal opportunity to actually use this particular car for once, only had it 3ish months after all 🫨

Super clean mechanically, interior is near on immaculate. Has electric side lockers, Xenon headlights, 48 half leather/Alcantara seats, corner mounted toilet & rear servery.
