So… I wrote yesterday but I was a mess so I’m rewriting. My aortic vertebral tear isn’t healing on its own as fast as we’d like so the Drs gave me 2 options: 1) a shunt (literal brain surgery) or 2) a medication that after insurance is $875-ish. Since I don’t want the surgery(1)

@RoboticBestBud @machines_sad @ortatech83 @VanceE They were if they were hiking and drinking from rivers/lakes. We used little iodine tablets in water to make it safe to drink. I don’t think they are big anymore as we have better methods.
