I imagined them to have an ability that works similar to Stance Change called 'Zen Master' so Mega Darmanitan can swap forms interchangeably.

Making a paradox Registeel proved to be a challenge. I needed the design to be a Steel/Fire type, but turning a robot-inspired design into a prehistoric design is hard as fuck.

Thought I’d share this here too. One of my big complaints in PLA is that they didn’t do enough with the combat, so I wanted to make a Pokémon that could switch forms mid battle.
I also redesigned Hisuian Lilligant and killed 2 birds with one stone!

That's an interesting idea! My original concept had the treasure chest become gigantamaxed with golden coins making a wave inside. But the whole design became overcrowded.
I also wanted to double down on the surfer aspect more than the mimic aspect

Chilly Prison is part water because it can liquify and refreeze its body at will. That’s how it’s able to take things from its victims.
Out of all the objects on its body, the shield is the only thing belonging to a steel type. The other objects come from water and ground types.
