Words will never be able to experess my gratitude to coach B and staff for the opportunity to be a part of the Michigan basketball family. Not an accident I committed to a program led by a man like coach B. Best in the business without question!

Thank you to all of the Michigan family for an incredible four years at Michigan. No better place, no better team, no better staff and no better leader to spend four years with than my teammates & coaches, led by coach B, at Michigan. You changed my life forever
#GoBlue
Thank you coach B for being the man you are. You have the highest level of integrity I have ever seen. Shown not only by your commitment to me, but also by how you lead our team every day. You set an example of what servant leadership looks like. Character Wins.

A lot of great coaches out there who are also great men, but as far as I’m concerned, there is not a better man in all of college basketball than coach B.
I’m excited to announce I am now speaking on a full-time basis! The focus of my message is on overcoming adversity and other lessons that I’ve learned on the road to recovery. I look forward to the challenges and opportunities to come!
Nine years ago, my future was uncertain. Thanks to the Power of God & the contributions of everyone on my team, we Overcame It. We have some work to do to beat the challenges posed by COVID-19, but if we work together, We Will Overcome It.
On this day 9 years ago, June 15th, 2011, Coach
@JohnBeilein
changed the course of my life when he offered me a scholarship to play for him at Michigan. Forever grateful that
@umichbball
is a part of my story.

Welcome to the team, Hudson James! Born on October 14, 2022 at 10lbs, 11oz and 22in long.
God, please help us raise him to:
-Honor You with his life
-Respect everyone
-Lead by serving first
-Leave people and places better than he found them
Mom and Hudson are doing great ❤️
Thank you for all of the complimentary words re; the recent CBS special. Thank you to all of those who have made my journey possible. It has been the epitome of a team effort. Wouldn’t be where I am today without the efforts and prayers of so many people.
Rest In Peace Kobe, Gianna & the seven others who perished in the horrific accident yesterday. There are no words to say. Let’s all pray for the families as they cope with this unimaginable loss. Make sure to tell your family you love them today.
My dad’s definition of success: “you are a success when you are loved by your family and your friends, admired by your peers and when you consistently use your God given talents constructively to improve civilization.”
We are known as the Leaders & Best, but our seniors really took that to another level this season
THANK YOU!

This decade has certainly been a journey. The past 10 years changed my life in ways I would have never expected, including incomprehensible loss, immense growth and incredible life milestones. I look forward to seeing all that God has in store for the next decade. Happy New Year!
It has been said that it is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we respond to what happens to us. Might be true, but I think a closer estimate is that it is 1% what happens to us and 99% how we respond to what happens to us.
You don’t have to be a “star” to make an impact on your team or business! I scored 1 point in 4 years at Michigan. 1 point! Not the career I thought I would have but I took pride in my role. We can all lead by example. A rising tide lifts all boats!
One of the best days in my life! BTW. For anyone who did not get to see
@AustinHatch30
play in HS. He was terrific! I believed he was going to be a 3 or 4 year starter for Michigan! He gave us more than that with his attitude AH was a huge part of our success !

Coach, you changed the course of my life by following through on your commitment, despite the change in our circumstances! I’m so grateful I was a part of The Team! Not the role I planned on when I committed but Those Who Stay Will Be Champions!! A rising tide can lift all boats!
Honored to share at the Bob Ufer Quarterback Club event last night. Very grateful for all coach B did for me. He serves his players’ heart, not their talent.
Last week, I posted about GRIT.
Grit took me from a hospital bed, unable to walk, to playing for Michigan. I didn’t contribute anything on the court, but I brought a positive attitude every day and took pride in my role, every day. A rising tide lifts all boats!
We were made to be Courageous. Deuteronomy 31:6
“Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.”
Let’s all approach every form of adversity we face in 2018 w/ GRIT: GROWTH MINDSET (adversity is opportunity), RESILIENCE (what happens to us is never as important as how we respond), INTEGRITY (always follow through on our commitments) & THE TEAM FIRST MENTALITY
#GRIT
Christ’s resurrection gave us all hope for the future. 1 Corinthians 6:14: "And God raised the Lord and will also raise us up by His power." Have a Blessed Easter!
My dad was my hero. He always showed up and always supported me, and when we were together, it seemed like nothing else mattered.
Hudson, I promise to always show up. I'll always be there to support you and help you achieve your dreams. When we're together, nothing else matters
Happy to announce my first hire at Overcome It, LLC. Hudson will be fielding all speaking requests.
Please give him grace on any typos. We’re working on his spelling.
My dad left every place better than he found it! More importantly, he left every person better than he found him or her, too. Sometimes it was because of a big act of kindness or generosity, but it was usually by doing the little things.
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance (James 1:2-3).
Shared a clip a few weeks ago about finding a word to live by. Grit is my word, but as we begin the year of our marriage, I’d like to add another word: Commitment. Commitment is staying true to what we said we would do, even when we face unexpected adversity
