Walking door to door in Portage, I've met so many people who came back from all over. I don't know if we'd need Bon Jovi's permission, but sometimes I think our welcome signs should say "Who says you can't go home?"

Walking door to door in Portage in this run for mayor, it's impossible to not notice all the litter along the side of so many of our streets. After I'm elected to office, my administration will partner with our neighborhoods to keep our city consistently clean for every season.

Pro-Portage Taxpayer: As mayor, I will protect your investment in Portage by managing your tax dollars responsibly.

The most important thing I learned in the course of being a teacher is that all children want the same thing. They all want a responsible adult to care about them. That might even be what everyone wants.

One of the most solid pieces of advice I've ever gotten was "never let yourself get so mad at somebody that you won't pray for them."

Living doesn't make you wise. I could live one thousand lives and learn less than what God could teach me in one day.
