@NialFinegan @roisinmcauley @KilclooneyJohn Although soccer was founded before partition, the IFA which was based in Belfast. Clubs in Leinster elected to break away & form what is now the FAI, around the time of partition. Northern Irish Athletics founded its own Association in 1932.
