RIGATHI GACHAGUA- THE KING OF TRIBAL POLITICS and A THREAT TO NATIONAL INTERGRATION. Rigathi Gachagua has mastered the art of reckless, tribal, inflammatory and hate-driven statements that he forgets immediately the sun sets. The Wamunyoro based tribal King is obsessed with the politics of entitlement and revenge. Every time he gets an opportunity to address the electorates the flaw of his speech is deeply rooted in tribalism - an aspect that is dangerous to our democracy and national unity. As a patriotic citizen who acknowledge the sweat ,suffering, humiliations and torture that our founding fathers went through to liberate our nation from the colonial york i have severally wondered why the National Commission on Cohesion and Intergration has never summoned him To begin with, when the true sons of the soils were busy advocating for multiparty democracy, Rigathi Gachagua was then serving as the District Commissioner in Moi regime. When patriots like Martin Shikuku, Raila Odinga, Kenneth Matiba, Charles Rubia, Charity Ngilu,James Aggrey Bob Orengo,Masinde Muliro were busy advocating for multiparty democracy Rigathi Gachagua was busy taking orders from President Moi.Lest we forget, Rigathi Gachagua was fired as the District Commissioner for mismanagement of funds allocated to relief food. Apart from being a champion of tribal politics, Rigathi Gachagua has a political strategic communication challenge that has taken him to political oblivion. The impeached Deputy President speaks but he doesn't consider the outcomes, he acts but the outcomes of his actions is a non - issue to him. In the game of politics, for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. The politics of entitlement defined by our ethnic geography was the his approach in the game of power, he was subjected to an equal and opposite reaction-impeachment. Even after being impeached, the tribal King has resorted to politics of revenge. 2027 will hammer him the last political nail on his head. During the Presidential campaigns of 2022 general elections, Riggy G is on record castigating the former President, Uhuru Kenyatta. He never bothered the outcomes of his actions. When he needed Uhuru Kenyatta during his impeachment process he could convince him and not even a single MP from jubilee party voted in his favour during the impeachment process. During the post election maandamano of 2023 ,Rigathi Gachagua castigated Raila Odinga and his supporters. He never knew that a day will come when he will need ODM legislators for his survival in politics.The political relationship between Rigathi Gachagua and the Luo is torn beyond repair. Luo MPs voted to impeach him - actually 99.9%. Politically, he has not learned. The former Deputy President has resorted to attacking Musalia Mudavadi, Moses Wetangula and the head of State recklessly without considering the outcomes. Watch this space........
