No, it wasn’t definitely the tech. He definitely wouldn’t be able to act like that out of Sora’s nair 1 otherwise. Also look at the block icon under him. That confirms it.

I got this in an online bracket tonight.
Now that I'm looking at it in hindsight, I should've done nair > f-smash as a true finisher. But this was still cool regardless.

It was recently brought to my attention that Vendetta said I have the best combo-game out of any Sora he's seen in tournament.
It is so cool that I've gotten to a point where a player of this caliber gives me recognition.

I just fought a super good Kazuya on Quickplay named SMC9_Cirno. This is the first Kazuya I've ever fought who could consistently hit the 0-deaths and it forced me to get really creative in advantage to take his stocks early as well. Otherwise, I would just lose the game.

Amazing run in Fate's Domain today, placing 2nd/117, getting double eliminated by Vendetta in grands from winners side. We went all the way to game 10, but but he was able to close it out in the end. I'm still incredibly satisfied with the run regardless.

I lost to Vendetta's Terry and Redsaw's Bowser.
I'm gonna start studying a lot more and get some help/lessons. I'm at a point where just playing 90% of the time isn't enough. But I'm willing to put in the effort

I’m incredibly honored to be on this.
I had no idea I could even be included on something like this considering I still don’t really play offline yet.

Ascension was a pretty nice time today. I managed to place 17th with Sora.
I also know exactly what I need to do going forward. Essentially, I need to press more buttons. I focus so much on my positioning sometimes that I’m often too passive and forget to capitalize off of it.

I managed to place 2nd/140 in the Fate's Domain online tournament tonight, losing to Vendetta in grands.
I watched the VOD from his perspective and he described me perfectly. He said that I would be terrifying if I had neutral, but I only have advantage state.

I'm starting to realize how important magic is to Sora. Because of how slow he is, it can be really hard to keep your opponent pressured. But with magic, you can threaten them from a longer range to make up for his speed.

Another outstanding online bracket performance tonight. I lost to Dr. Kirb's Falco in the winners top 8 qualifier and MrCheese's G&W in grands.
I was incredibly close to making the bracket reset, but I lost the game 5 last hit situation.

I got 9th at the last FFF of the semester, losing to CaptainCRUP in winners side and Eki in losers. I was able to take a game against CRUP and the set against Eki was last hit, so it's great to know I can hold up against such good players, even if I can't quite close it out yet.

My day's off to a pretty good start. I just won a small online bracket.
Something I learned yesterday that is really helping is that Sora's back air is a really good neutral tool, alongside his other options like nair, grab, and magic.

I've made top 8 every event I've gone to since I started my "offline era" a couple weeks ago. So it's nice to know I can keep up with most people offline.
However, I need to take some time and make serious changes to my play if I want to reach the next level and win events.

Be creative with magic.
If you run offstage with magic, it can cover many recovery routes.
You can stall in the air for timing mixups, usually with fire.
Blizzaga can shield poke or lower their shield size to set up for pokes or even d-smash shield breaks in rare cases.

I wouldn’t say it is incredibly difficult to learn as long as you are willing to spend a good amount of time in training mode. The hard thing is learning the intricacies of each character and being able to react to specific spacing and hitboxes.

I placed 33rd in Bamboo Battles today.
I know that's not bad at all, but I would be lying if I said I wasn't a little sad considering my run to 3rd last week.

I've never played against anyone who hits NIL2 combos consistently AND follows my SDI on everything. Also, they were definitely doing the turnaround tech as well.
I didn't take a game, but it was fun regardless.

I don't mean to be ambiguous, but it really depends on your mindset and work ethic. For me, I've been playing for 4 years. But there are some high-top level players who got there in half the time and some people who have been playing way longer, but still go 0-2.

In my head, there are no right options because they are waiting for me to approach and punish whatever I do for free.
It's crazy how hard I've tried to find solutions. I've even drawn diagrams and taken notes to try and break the scenario down, but I'm still clueless.

Heavies aren’t very hard for me anymore, however I’m still pretty inconsistent against the majority of the cast. I think that says a lot considering I’m one of the best Soras at combos and even I have a long way to go.

Basically anytime I hit my opponent a distance where it's unrealistic to keep the pressure by dashing toward them with normals, I throw out whatever magic I have and it makes sure they have something to play around and keep them in check.

I feel like I'm so close to reaching the next level in my play.
I need to put all my effort into learning and refining a few blind spots in myself as a player. Then I'll really be able to prove what I can do.

Sora represents a large part of my childhood, being Disney. I also played Kingdom Hearts for the first time at the beginning of this year and now love it and Sora as a character.
He's simply the character that makes me the most happy to play.

yeah, it only hits lower down for 2 frames. D-smash hits below for 4 frames and f-tilt is 2 or 3. Also, f-smash hits higher than the others, so it doesn't work on low ledge grabs.
