@Niko_Dantus @memomotorsports @archi_tradition Yeahβ¦ still a no. Itβs like saying the Aqueduct of Segovia was built by the Spanish. It was built by the Romans. Spain wasnβt even a thing and it took centuries to become its own country, same as Mexico. Be proud of something youβve built on your own π

@Niko_Dantus @memomotorsports @archi_tradition Mexico is the name they chose for the country when they got independent in 1821. The mix of cultures and races was Nueva EspaΓ±a, a province of Spain from 1535 until 1821. All those buildings shown were built between 1500-1750. In other words, those buildings are not Mexican.

@UsinTX @archi_tradition So the Roman Empireβs territory was Rome or βwhatever name they got centuries laterβ? I guess Romans DESIGNED so much around the world, look! Look at the constructions the French, Turkish, Croatian and some other places that didnβt even exist for another 1000 years, built!

@SylviaR89025843 @archi_tradition Iβm quite worried you got to be a public representative and you never got to know Mexico is only 204 years old, not 500. Mexico didnβt exist back then, all that land was part of Spain and its citizens: Spanish. Indigenous had indeed pyramids, not cathedrals.

@emilior75749772 @archi_tradition βIndigenous techniquesβ? Take a look at both of these pictures. One is a Spanish cathedral (in Spain), the other one is a indigenous temple. Which one you think looks closer to the ones in the OP?

@JosuePS86 @archi_tradition There were no Mexicans back then and Nueva EspaΓ±a was a part of Spain, in the same way Canary Islands is Spain today.

@1aguerrero @archi_tradition Sad to see you deny your ancestry. Perhaps you should change your Spanish surename, after all it means βwarriorβ and maybe it was given to a Spanish warrior who conquered America. Think about it.
