@davidpwalter A lot of people would say thatā€™s a nihilistic viewpoint but I find it rather promising to know this - what a great motivator

ā€œAmericans are not subjects, we are the rulersā€ is the most American thing Iā€™ve heard in a long time and I love that

If one branch determines the powers of others, there is no separation of powers, there is simply one power. Each branch, and in fact each person, is obligated to determine what they feel is lawful. As a military officer I was obligated to decide whether an order given to me was lawful (constitutional), and obligated by oath to disobey it if I felt it was not. The same holds for people not in government. They are free to decide whether an act of the state is constitutional or not. If not they are free to ignore it. No branch gets to tell them otherwise. This may confuse people who have been educated by the state as compliant subjects. But Americans are not subjects, we are the rulers.

What do I do with this unstoppable domain that Iā€™ve had since unstoppable domains was founded and Iā€™ve never done anything with? Does it just die alongside the rest of my domains?

2 cents nobody asked for: Crypto communities just need to better prune their network information flow 1) Bitcoin faces minimal (but a few) existential crisisā€™ā€¦ shut the weird toxic maxi platforms down, let them have their isolated island and just stop feeding energy into them 2) Global rescue mission style congregate the people who support ā€œutilityā€ tokens and the people who want a casino and educate them in a serious way about bitcoin - tackle bitcoin crisis together 3) mobilize this same groups to support privacy initiatives and to kill the narrative that devs shouldnā€™t be able to create mini market economies that fund OSS projects a lĆ” commodity monies- define them safe from being viewed as ā€œsecuritiesā€ 4) protect the casino side by declaring the internet sovereign land in terms of crypto related gambling services (like waterways and reservations in America already are) to protect meme coin launches from corrupt investigations- appropriately label it gambling 5) do this with the knowledge, once these goals are met, individuals disband and are once again individual operators sovereign from any obligation to the crypto sphere Save bitcoin. Promote privacy. Give people autonomy over their money. Get devs paid. Stop lawfare. Oh and put all government spending on immutable, public ledgers.

Iā€™m curious as to what your background isā€¦ youā€™re really pushing this narrative here but Iā€™m sure if you have this much insight you recognize the cost of hardwareā€¦ just a server rack alone. Do you realize the expense that running a FOSS project burdens the builders with? You certainly must, to be pushing this point this hard. Do you think those who helped build the crypto ecosystem arenā€™t valuable enough to exchange their labor for money through a voluntary system? Do you promote slavery over financial incentives and free market economies?

I just listened to @charliekirk11 play a Bitcoin ad that will run during the Super Bowl. The FTC should go after the producer for false advertising. Bitcoin is not backed by energy. Bitcoin doesn't store any energy that can be released. Bitcoin owners can't redeem it for energy.
