The remaining islands are too small and close to Diego too Garcia for China to bother as the sphere of influence is already lost

China is unlikely to build a base next door to an American existing one and Braverman is just talking out of her arse as she usually does!

@SuellaBraverman ... to build a base in proximity of an existing USA one in Diego De Garcia as not only provocative but it does have a sphere of influence to build and flex might as the USA is already there! If you can't understand that much you shouldn't be in politics!

He should have already raised dissatisfaction. Look how Mexico, Canada and China have stood up to him. India needs to show a backbone too!

India accepted them back rightfully but asked they be accorded dignity. They weren't and cozing to Trump will cheapen India!

They were rightly repatriated but the indignity accorded is disgraceful. Mexico, Canada and China have stood up to Trump and you need to show a backbone too!

Their earlier generations may not have but its impossible with their sizeable families to survive on a single low wage that is from within the community not a mainstream job. Apart from social housing which benefit is given on tap past 6months?
