LOVE THIS ACKNOWLEDGEMENT. In ballet, we feel all the pain but have to smile and move gracefully through it, telling a story with our bodies, too. Put a ballerina in a pain tolerance test against a pro wrestler. Better yet, turn a ballerina into a pro wrestler. 😈⚜️.
Pro Wrestling has modernised to the positive SO much in recent years. Embraced and taken in so many influences. But the pervasive "it ain't ballet" expression drives me nuts. In terms of skill, toughness, art or discipline.

The FURY that overcame me at the gym today, when a dude dropped his MF’ing dumbbells that bounced WAY too close to my broken ankle. MY CLAWS CAME OUT 🤬 but I kept the peace… 😒.Can’t wait to tap into that feeling and use it when I’m back in the ring.
