Sheffield's old Crimean Monument was a huge monument to the Crimean War designed by architect George Goldie. It featured a statue of seated Victory and had captured Russian cannon at its base.
In the 1960s the local council dismantled it and put it in storage where it remains.

40 Winters On was a collection of oral accounts from migrants about how they came to Britain. Windrush was important, not because it was the first ship of Carribbean immigrants or the last, but because British Pathé was there to film it. Windrush was just the one recorded.

Onyekachi Wambu came to Britain in 1970 from Nigeria as a refugee after their civil war. He went on to study at Cambridge and become a journalist and editor for Voice magazine in the 80s. He joined the BBC in the 90s making docs about race relations.
