While working on Warhammer got inspired and did a little process of making a thing. In the process I combine both line and shape, utilizing the strengths of each technique.
I made a sketch for the

. It's kind of like an underwater servitor. I'll be adding more details as I go along. There is an earlier sketch, I'll throw it in the comments.

Did a character lineup two years ago. This is one of them, I think next week I'll try to remake this design as I feel it can be put together much better.
Speedsculpt in blender. Yesterday I was customizing hotkeys and the blender interface. Finally I found the functions that are available in Zbrush. (I really like some things in Zbrush, but I work faster in blender with blocking).
A year ago created an concept of these guys for my universe. Now I would be more thoughtful with the design of their elements, as the armor looks too pointless and incomprehensible, but I still really like their mood, feel.
New Miniature. First blocking. I want to put it in the pose faster, but it is desirable before that to deal with all the details so that the process is not delayed.

I used to strive for complete order in the process, but lately I've noticed that a little chaos allows me to unleash my imagination and find unexpected solutions. But i should note that the task is always set at the beginning and in the chaos I find ways to solve this task.

It's just a brush with no pressure. Bloop bloop, you get texture. I started with just blocking in 3d and then just added detail and contours.

You need to minimally invest in simple skills, like construction and knowledge of materials. And maximize your investment in knowledge of the world. History, engineering, knowledge of anatomy. Absolutely anything will come in handy.)

I used columns in the design to create a monumental effect. But he was inspired by the Mayan culture. I was interested in presenting the god Camazotz in a different form.

Thank you! I haven't made a full high poly model yet, it's just a concept. But in the future I will make more such content and of course I will be able to sell or something else.
