We refined our shared vision for the awesome potential of photonic chip frequency combs over the next decade, and finalised our near term plans for achieving that vision. Now to put those plans into action!

The same optical fibres used for our internet can be excellent ground-motion sensors & the best part is that they're already everywhere! I'm excited to be working with @MeghanSMiller in our @COMBSCentre to make technology even more accessible, sensitive and real-time!

Congratulations to @SumeetWalia, PhD researcher Aishani Mazumder and team! This research will help our @COMBSCentre sensors decide where to focus - whether looking at earthquakes, gases in the environment or self-driving cars - all in real time!

For 5 years, we have been working with Advanced Navigation to make optical gyroscopes - devices that measure orientation & rotation - smaller, lighter & more cost effective. @Photonics_spectra feature us in their latest issue! Thx @JamesSchlett !
