Notre Dame is one of our biggest non-service academy rivals so I hate to give them credit. But what are you talking about? They played a tougher schedule than Texas AND Penn State and beat more top 25 teams then anyone in the final 4.
Notre Dame has essentially hacked the CFP. Easiest schedule.Don't have to play a conf champ game.Most likely get home playoff game. The kicker?. If they make the natty - they get $20 mil all to themselves. For perspective: OSU gets $1.1 mil - share the rest with rest of B10.

You know what I’ll say it. The 12 team playoff is great for college football and teams like Indiana SHOULD be in over teams like Ole Miss. AND it’s awesome that service academies and group of 5 schools now have a real chance to compete for a national championship.
