And so my chronological replay of the RE series begins! From now until the release of RE4 Remake I'll be playing every game and all of the canon movies/series/DLC. Might take me a while but I'll get there! Thanks to PlayStation Plus Premium I'm playing RE1 on PS5 😊

It's crazy how iconic Leon's jacket is in RE4 considering he only wears it for 20-30 minutes of the 15 hour long game! Like that's almost the equivalent of how long he wears his casual jacket at the beginning of the RE2 Remake and no one cares about that at all 😂

100% disagree. Comparing them to junk food just because they made some changes is unfair. RE4R especially, it expanded & fleshed out the game far more than the original did. Backtracking, more puzzles, merchant requests, more incentive to find treasures, extra shooting range etc
My problem isn’t the Resident Evil Remakes being Bad because they’re not bad games, problem lies in the taking away things that made the originals so incredible, In comparison they feel like easily digestible fun rides,
basically Junk food compared to full meals IMO

The RE4 remake proves that action and horror can work when it's done right. The remake was alot darker and leaned more towards horror than the original game did. Makes me excited for potential remakes of RE5 & RE6!

One thing Resident Evil 6 done PERFECTLY was having seperate campaigns that never contradict one another. Each character has their own story, locations, bosses, cutscenes etc but still having those moments where the stories would crossover! (1/2)

Did you prefer the El Gigante fight more in the original or in the remake? Personally I think both fights were basically identical but I did enjoy how it was raining in the remake and also the dog had a little bit more involvement too!

I liked that the remake merchant always has his own little shop set up with tables, boxes, a tent etc. I do love the original merchant but he is usually just awkwardly standing there like he's lost 😂

One of the BEST things about the remake was the fact that the caves were now fully explorable instead of just being a load screen like in the original. The entire lake in general was greatly expanded and had so many optional areas to explore!

So Capcom are "fixing" the rain in the Day 1 patch for Resident Evil 4! Honestly, I think this was completely unnecessary 😂 I felt like the rain was atmospheric and immersive. It was actually like Leon was in a storm rather than the rain just being part of the background

Nemesis temporarily going down on his knee when stunned replaces the ability to outright knock him out like in the og. It's okay not to like something but why some people choose to be negative 24/7 I'll never understand. I just don't have the energy for that sort of attitude
4 years ago, CAPCOM ruined the iconic horror figure Nemesis by turning him into a joke that bends the knee every time his sump pump is touched.

So many people are complaining that Ada isn't in Mercenaries at launch. It's probably because Capcom want to wait until after Seperate Ways is released! Personally I would much rather my first experience with Ada gameplay be in her own campaign, then mercenaries!

So I've played RE: Verse for a good few hours now and you know, its actually really fun! Im not usually one for multiplayer games but having the characters, the iconic locations, the costumes, the weapons, the unlocks, it actually makes a decent game! It's the most fun I've (1/2)
